In line with Discovery's values, the vision of Discovery Force for Good is to deliver the best and most inclusive employee volunteer programme in the world, impacting 500,000 people directly, by maximising the rich skills and knowledge of employees, training volunteers, and leveraging off Discovery's intellectual property.
In reaching our vision, we aim to:
- Align to the business strategy of shared value and replicate the social-value model used at Orange Farm.
- Strengthen internal platforms to support volunteering and increase volunteerism to 60% of all employees by 2023
- Address social development issues by collaborating with other organisations to amplify the effect.
