Start your healthy holiday by finding out about your health

If you haven’t had a chance to visit one of our health partners to have your Vitality Health Check yet this year, now’s the time to make that all-important appointment. Not only can you earn up to 12 000 Vitality points for doing so, but your Vitality Health Check will give you a very good idea about the current state of your health.

During your Health Check, you will have certain important health indicators tested including blood pressure, glucose, cholesterol, as well as BMI (Body Mass Index) and waist-to-hip ratio. If any of these indicators is out of range when you have your health check, your nurse can help you to understand what steps to take next.

You and your family can complete the Vitality Health Check at a Vitality Wellness Centre, any pharmacy in the Vitality Wellness Network, at a Discovery Wellness Day or at your nearest Discovery Store.

New Discovery Store now open in Menlyn Maine

One of our most convenient places to have your assessments done is through one of the Discovery Stores across the country. The flagship Discovery Store is in Sea Point in Cape Town with additional stores in Umhlanga, Stellenbosch and now, Menlyn.

Riaan Jonker, a Vitality member living in Stellenbosch, recently completed his Vitality Health Check at the Discovery Store there.
