All Vitality Health members can earn 1 000 Vitality points a year for getting a flu vaccination between March and September each year. Members who are 60 years or older earn a bonus 1 000 points a year for their flu vaccination. Make sure you protect yourself and your family and earn Vitality points.

Earn Vitality points
Vitality Health members can earn 1 000 Vitality points for completing a flu vaccination between 1 March and 30 September each year. If you're 60 years old or older, you'll earn a bonus 1 000 Vitality points. The optimum time to get a flu vaccination is during the colder months while the vaccine is still relevant enough to be effective.
If you are claiming the cost of this vaccination from a medical scheme administered by Discovery Health you do not need to submit proof as points will be awarded automatically. Please allow 7 days for your points to reflect.
If you are not claiming for this vaccination, submit proof of your vaccination on the Claim Vitality Points page for your points to be awarded. Please allow 48 hours for processing, you can then check that these points have been awarded on your Vitality Points Tracker.
Paying for the vaccination
If you are a member of a scheme administered by Discovery Health, you can claim for vaccinations from the available funds in your Medical Savings Account. The costs do not count towards the Annual Threshold.
